Originally from India and is the longest standing member of WCF staff and worked over 15 years for the charity with extensive experience in office and project management and also gained a wealth of experience in fundraising & bid writing. Passionate about women empowerment and equality. Seconded to Public Health Wales in 2018/19 and working as Senior Project Manager in developing webpage resources to increase workplace diversity. Also Project Coordinator for Women’s Health First project.

Mei is of Chinese heritage, has worked at WCF since 2010. Passionate about health and fitness and has organised the many activities and classes currently running. Qualified in level 2 Gym Instruction. Manages WCF finances and takes an active role in preparing budgets and writing grant applications.

Originally from Lebanon. A Business Management graduate. She manages the Golden Years project, is a qualified advisor and counsellor, providing 1:2:1 advice services sensitive to the cultural needs of our beneficiaries.

Project Worker
Originally from the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Joined the team in February 2019 as a Project Worker for the “We Can Work It Out” project. A project in partnership with four different organisations in Cardiff. Graduated from Political Science with emphasis in Political Communication. Passionate about building peace, Non-Violent Communication and positive ways of handling conflict as a natural part of our lives. Experienced in working with vulnerable population in Colombia such as displacement people, demobilised people and victims of the Colombian internal armed conflict. As well as, working within prisons in United Kingdom and with BAME communities through art and cultural projects in Cardiff.

Crèche Coordinator
Jackie gained a BA Hons Degree in Community Studies- Playwork in her 40’s and three years after her degree gained a PGCE educating adults. She enjoys working in the community seeing people develop their skills and helping them to reach their potential. She manages and mentors a group of highly qualified childcare/playworkers who provide toddler groups, holiday play and mobile crèches.
